If you are so inclined, would you post your experience both with computer programming and trading? How did you find this site, what brought you here?
Thanks,
-asimon

I have been programming for a living for about 12 years. I have programmed VB 6 and C# building applications on top of MS SQL.
I have been interested in trading for a number of years, but only recently have I really been pushing myself hard to learn more.
I found this site by searching the web for open source back testing software. I found a code snipet on Code Project and that led me here.

I find this site very intersting, I learned about 4xlab via Code Project too. I'm very intersted in building my own trading application, including: backtesting, optimization and portfolio analysis. But I'm just seeking for the basics right now.

Hi asimon,
I've been a software developer for 10 years. I moved to IT Security Consulting. I also trade stocks for about a year, however I want something more dynamic. I found this site on google and I am working on my trading system based on .NET/C# language. Thanks for putting this site together and all the information.
Happy trading!
Petar
